Stamp Reveiw of the Week
Hi All!
I thought that I would do a review of a new stamp that I had recently purchased!
Brand: Hero Arts
Name: K5376 Hydrangea
Type: Wood Mounted Rubber
Size: Block Measures 8cm x 9.5cm
Well needless to say as with all Hero Arts products it is flawless! I stamped it using Memento Black Tuxedo Ink and got a perfect impression first time! It is the perfect size for making the image the main feature of your card as it will fill up a fair portion of the card front.
I coloured the image with my Copic Markers as shown below......it was an easy image to colour even for a beginner like me as the shaded areas are already marked out for you...you just apply your darkest marker in them!! I don't think that would be called cheating....would it??
Score: LOVE IT!! 5/5 Ink Pads!
I hope that you have enjoyed this stamp review, if you have a product that you would like me to road test please let me know!

Graduation Card
This is the first graduation card that I have ever made! Thank goodness for the Silhoutte online store! I have just received my new Cameo and have been cutting everything in sight!! The word graduation is a phrase from the store and I have added the words on your with the Tahoma font.
Then I added a shadow background by using the offset feature!

Silhouette Settings for Cutting X-Press It Masking Film
Hi Everyone!!
I have been a long time user of the Provocraft Cricut, but have also had a Silhouette SD hidden away in my cupboard for....hmmm....2 YEARS!! After 1 failed attempt at using the Silhouette I put it away. However! I have recently brought it out of the closet..................and dare I say..............I am totally loving it!!~ SO much so, I have ordered the new version....the Silhouette Cameo that has a 12" platform!
Anyway, back to the real reason for this post! I just wanted to share the settings for cutting your own masks with this machine and the X-Press It Masking Film!
Select the following settings
Media: Silhouette Vinyl
Speed: 8
Thickness: 5
Blade Depth: 1
This setting cuts through the clear mask, but not the backing sheet! Then you can reapply the mask to the backer so that you can use it over and over!! I personally have had great results with these settings, if you don't........let me know!
Happy Cutting
