Magnolia Down Under Challenge #47

The challenge this week was to create a card that was SHAPED!!  Where to start??  I think that I took the easy way out by using my cricut and cutting a "b" to stick on the side of a normal card!!  But I like the effect!!

Don't you love the little bird charm??  We have them in stock over at http://www.justscrapandstamp.com.au/ as well as the full range of Tim Holtz distress reinkers which are what I have used to colour in my image.

New Tutorial on You Tube

Just a quick post to let you know I have just posted a new tutorial on You Tube!!  It has been ages since I have done one, so maybe now I will get back into the swing of things.  Anyhow  Enjoy!

Finishing Off Mode

I have been in finishing off mode the last couple of days, and just thought I would share with you a couple of layouts that I have got around to getting finished!!

Aiden had his first birthday a month ago and I have just finished this layout from when he was born!!  How slack is that.  I had decided that I needed to get his album  a bit more up to date before our next baby arrived in a few weeks time.  I had better get cracking!!

This layout was one of the chllenges from our bootcamp.  The challenge was to use black and white and one other colour.  I am really happy with how this one turned out!!

This layout remained half finished from our National Scrapbooking Day workshop, I can't lie......it really only needed a title and the date being added, but it is now finished!!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #44

The challenge this time was to use this sketch and I had a new packet of spellbinders dies just waiting to  opened.  PERFECT!! 

This is the first image that I have coloured using Tim Holtz Distress Reinkers!! And I love this technique so much I have just ordered the entire range of reinkers to put in our online store!!  I have set them up in a pre-order section with a bonus colour chart for anyone who orders 5 or more colours!!  We are also doing sets of 12, 24, and the full set of 36 in packs with special pricing!!  Anyway here is the card that I have made, Hope you like it!!

and here is the result.  I have watercoloured the image with inks and a aqua painter.
