Note of Thanks

This card was inspired by my quilt cover!! It has a pleated panel with velvet ribbon threaded through it and a white embroidered design in these colours!! Anyway, to make the pleated panel out of paper I scrunched up the paper first so that it had some dimension and then randomly pleated the paper in 2 directions to give it the look of a piece of fabric. Have a go at it, it is soo easy and a great addition to your cards.

Materials: Bazzill Smoothies Cardstock, Scribble Scrabble Patterned Paper, Stampin up Ribbon, Frames with a Flourish stamp set, and rub-ons.

I love the colours in this weeks inspiration although I think I may have strayed from the design brief again slightly. I just love these papers from Cosmo Cricket, they come in an 8x8 pad so you can easily mix and match them together!! I also love this quote and have been waiting to find a project to use it on!!
